AFL’s FlowScout Through-mode PON power meter is the perfect tool for technicians responsible for activating and maintaining networks carrying a mix of GPON/EPON, video, and next gen PON (XG/XGS-PON, 10GEPON) wavelengths.
FlowScout differentiates itself from other through-mode PON Power Meters because it doesn’t require any setup. It couldn’t be simpler to use – just plug in the fibre being tested and the results appear on the large colour touchscreen in a matter of seconds. The unit’s storage and reporting options make it easy to verify and document test results from the field.
With its rugged design, the FlowScout PON power meter is tailored for outdoor use, so it’s at home in tough environments; knocks, dirt and moisture are no problem for FlowScout. The file management system built into FlowScout PON Power Meter simplifies the task of organizing test results into various files. Technicians can conveniently transfer these files to a PC using a USB connection for further analysis, generating reports, and printing. Additionally, it includes a QR code feature, making it easy to collect and transfer test data through compatible smart devices, providing added convenience and efficiency in data management.
