As the industry’s first true 16-fibre OLTS tester, it supports both multi-fibre and duplex connectors, dramatically reducing test time and simplifying workflows. With the ability to test 16 fibres in just six seconds per port, technicians can complete the testing phase in half the time they otherwise would, boosting efficiency without compromising accuracy.
Designed for precision and ease of use, FlowScout features a highly intuitive icon-based interface that allows users to quickly set-up, test, and validate fibre links. Its large colour touch screen displays real-time power levels with clear, colour-coded pass/fail indicators, while built-in evaluation tools automatically compare results against industry or user-defined thresholds. This ensures reliable verification and documentation with minimal effort.
The FlowScout MPO OLTS is a complete handheld solution that eliminates the need for separate equipment when testing duplex connectors. One unit functions as a light source, the other as a power meter—streamlining the process with a unified workflow for both connector types. This all-in-one design means technicians can switch between multi-fibre and duplex testing without retraining or reconfiguring their setup.
Test results are easily stored and transferred via Bluetooth or USB, and with AFL’s free FlexApp, data can be wirelessly uploaded to the FlexReporter™ cloud. From there, users can generate detailed reports using FlexReports PC software, ensuring seamless documentation and analysis across all fibre types.
