An advanced optical cleaver for silica fibres.
The CT11x series of automatic optical cleavers offers superior cleaving performance compared to a conventional cleaver with a circular blade.
The CT11x series is equipped with a motorised diamond blade, which allows the operator to gradually cleave a fibre with a specific tension applied.
Thanks to the introduction of RFID technology, the CT11x series is able to recognise what fibre holder is being used and then select the appropriate cleaving programme optimised by the user.
