We are pleased to return to Rail Live, which takes place on the 17th and 18th June at Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre in Stratford-upon-Avon. Find us in zone J.
As a leading provider of advanced fibre optic technologies, we have a proven track record in enabling the digital transformation of rail and mass transit networks worldwide. Attendees visiting the stand will have the opportunity to discover how Fujikura optical networking solutions support the deployment of high-capacity, future-ready communications infrastructure.
Spider Web Ribbon® fibre technology is central to our offering: it is designed to enable high-density fibre deployment while significantly reducing installation time through mass fusion splicing. This innovation is particularly well suited to trackside environments, where efficiency and reliability are critical.
Live demonstrations will allow visitors to see Fujikura splicing equipment in action and gain hands-on experience under expert guidance from our technical team.
In addition, we will showcase our Apex closure range, engineered with a ribbon-first design, alongside a comprehensive portfolio of accessories and test equipment. These solutions are designed to help rail operators build robust, scalable backbone networks quickly and efficiently.
Speaking ahead of the event, Steve Rackstraw, UK Regional Sales Manager, said:
“With a strong track record across global rail and metro projects, and active membership of industry bodies such as UNIFE and the Railway Industry Association, Fujikura Europe is a trusted partner in delivering the infrastructure that underpins the digital railway of the future.
“Working within the constraints of the railway environment means that deployment windows must be used as efficiently as possible. Our end-to-end technology, from cables to joint closures, ODFs, connectivity, splicers and test and inspection solutions, not only enables this efficiency but also reduces the total cost of installation and long-term network ownership. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand at Rail Live and demonstrating these capabilities first-hand.”
