Next month we will be exhibiting at Capacity Europe, taking place at the InterContinental London – The O2, from 13th to 15th of October. Over three days, we will be discussing how our fibre optic network technologies help network operators, infrastructure providers, and wholesale carriers accelerate deployment, increase efficiency and build networks ready for future demands.

As part of the conference programme, Andy Black, Technical Director at Fujikura Europe, will deliver a presentation at 2:00pm on 13th October on the Fibre Investment Stage.

During his presentation, Andrew will explain the practical realities facing fibre deployments as operators come face to face with the demands of large-scale network delivery. Attendees can expect to learn about the challenges surrounding cost pressures, deployment complexity, labour availability and network modernisation, along with some of the practical realities of accelerating rollout in the years ahead.

Speaking ahead of the event, Andrew Black said:

“Fibre optic networks are the standard for the communications we rely on each day, but there is a significant gap between deployment ambition and the reality of delivering that infrastructure. As networks scale, operators are encountering new challenges that need innovative approaches to design, build, and efficiency. Capacity Europe provides an excellent opportunity to discuss these issues with industry leaders and for providing insight into how Fujikura’s deep knowledge and technical expertise deliver technology that supports overcoming barriers to faster, more sustainable and effective fibre deployment.”

What to expect from us

Visitors to our booth will have the opportunity to learn more about our SpiderWeb Ribbon® technology, fusion splicing systems and the network connectivity innovations that help operators to reduce installation time and costs, while maximising performance.

We look forward to meeting partners, customers and industry colleagues throughout the event and to contributing to the conversations shaping the next phase of fibre network investment and deployment.
