Training
Fujikura Europe is pleased to provide a range of training and support options across our product/solution ranges.

Training to help you go further.
We're proud to help develop new skills and hone existing ones.
Developing and maintaining an expert skill and knowledge base is critical for many of the customers we serve, particularly in the telecoms and industrial sectors.
Fujikura is an R&D-led business that develops highly specialised, cutting-edge technologies. Our research and development results in technologically advanced finished products, but our commitment to our customers doesn’t stop when delivery is complete. The research and development which begins in our laboratories carries through to how we work with our customers and end users; we collaborate with them to identify knowledge and/or skills gaps, which we help develop with training delivered by our experts.
introduction to fibre optics training
Held throughout the year at our head office in Chessington, Surrey.
This free day introduces the basics of fibre optic communications and is supplemented by support workshops to help with the understanding of fibre optic transmission, installations, testing procedures and equipment.
Anyone who attends can expect to gain a basic hands-on and theoretical understanding of fibre optics, knowledge of how to choose the right equipment and practical advice that will help increase productivity and reduce downtime.
This course is suitable for fibre installers, buyers, management and test engineers. It’s also suitable for anyone who is considering starting work as a fibre engineer. The course covers the basics of fibre optic data transmission from an on-site/engineer’s perspective.

SPECIALTY equipment SUPPORT
Our specialty splicing equipment includes all the support, setup and training our customers require.
We work very closely with our specialty customers to understand their needs and deliver training and support which enables them to fully utilise their product.
Specialty training and support begins at the initial discussion and continues throughout customer visits and subsequent communication, so our staff understand the customer and application. Training is part of the specialty sales process and prior to delivery of the customer’s product, we provide demonstration units to supply training on – giving the customer the chance to become familiar with their machine. This will be supplemented by further training tailored to their needs and application(s).
