Fujikura Ltd. and its group companies are pleased to announce that we have received an A- score for climate change from CDP, a global non-profit organisation driving corporate environmental responsibility.
This score reflects Fujikura’s dedication to environmental transparency and its commitment to managing climate change risks and opportunities.
Speaking about the rating, Thea Webster, responsible for environmental, social and governance policy at Fujikura Europe said:
“As a group, we are committed to continuous improvement in our environmental, social, and governance efforts. It’s important to reduce our carbon footprint and this rating from CDP is welcome confirmation that we are moving in the right direction. We will continue our work to become cleaner and greener, through a focus on achieving zero CO2 emissions at plants by 2050, minimising water use and managing wastewater, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and using resources more effectively.”
