Membrane Switch

Membrane is another form of printed circuit. Unlike FPC, its fully additive manufacturing process eliminates the need for wet procedures that require chemicals and wastewater disposal infrastructure. This makes Membrane a more environmentally friendly, lower cost technology, and an excellent complement to our FPC portfolio as another form of printed circuit.

Membrane products typically use a Polyester substrate onto which the conductive, non-conductive, and decorative inks are printed and cured to achieve the functional film. Films can be further enhanced by integrating mechanical parts via adhesive lamination or  3D forming and insert moulding techniques.

Our Membranes can be found in consumer devices including laptops, white goods and gaming consoles. In the automotive industry, Membrane is used in film antennas, heating elements, control switches, and a range of sensors.
