The USC-03 ultrasonic cleaner is a simple and cost-effective tool for cleaning optical fibre with acoustically vibrated alcohol.
Using ethyl alcohol as the cleaning agent, the USC-03 is ideally suited for use in factory and OEM applications where there is a need for efficient cleaning of the fibre before splicing. The USC-03 is dedicated for use with our FSM-40, 50, 60 and 100 Series fibre holder systems for high tensile strength splicing.
The USC-03 has a built-in timer which can be set from 0 to 99 seconds, it’s compact in design and weighing just 1kg is also ideal for field use. The cleaner incorporates its own 50kHz Langevin type vibration unit for fast thorough cleaning. It has a cleaning tank capacity of 24 to 36cc and includes an external AC adapter.
This ultrasonic cleaner readily accepts all FH-70-XXX, and FH-100-XXX series fibre holders and the Universal Fibre Holder Adapter, available as an optional accessory, enables the use of FH-XXX series fibre holders.
