OUR LIVES ONLINE – social media, streaming, file sharing, remote working, and communications – are fulfilled by data centres; they’re at the heart of digital services and the digital economy. Data centre infrastructure and connectivity is crucial to all data centres and our world-leading fusion splicers, test/inspection/measurement equipment, and ribbon fibre cable solutions can help keep your data centre connected, efficient and adaptable. Discover how Fujikura can be your partner for installs, adds, moves, and changes by visiting us in hall N4-N13, stand D971 at Data Centre World 2023 in London.

Speaking ahead of this year’s event, Stephen Rackstraw, Regional Sales Manager for the south of the UK, said, “There’s an exponential rise in the amount of data we’re creating through the growth of everything from Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things and 5G rollout, and data centre connectivity and performance grows in step with those factors. Each day it becomes more important to ensure your data centre is operating at its best, while being in a position to swiftly troubleshoot any network issues when they arise.”
Visitors to our stand (D971) can expect to see the world’s best fusion splicers on display and being demonstrated throughout the exhibition. The 90R, a mass fusion splicer capable of splicing up to 16-fibre ribbon cable simultaneously, is our optimum splicer for data centre communications because of the efficiency and precision it delivers provides network engineers. The 90R will be on show alongside the ultra-precise 90S+ single fibre core alignment splicer, launched in 2021 to deliver easy fibre handling, a reduction in working time, and reduced splice loss thanks to real time fusion control analysis.
Our SpiderWeb Ribbon (SWR) fibre technology allows data centres operators to maximise their available cable ducting and space with high fibre counts with easy install. SWR delivers high fibre density (up to 3,456-fibre cables) plus a significant reduction in cable diameter and weight when compared to traditional ribbon-based cable or loose tube fibre optic cable. Speak to our staff to learn more about what it could do for your connectivity.
A selection of AFL’s exceptional test and inspection equipment will also be on display and available for demonstration throughout DCW 2023. AFL test and inspection equipment perfectly compliments Fujikura splicers and cable because they empower engineers to install, test and troubleshoot fibre optic networks with speed, ease, and accurate results every time – meaning less downtime and money spent on fault finding/correction.
Stephen Rackstraw and Alex Reid will be available throughout the event to discuss and demonstate fusion splicing.
